Product RAVE; Urban Decay - Cowboy Junkie Set

I'm not usually a big fan of Urban Decay products, but I got this from a friend a few week ago and absolutely fell in love with it.

It comes with the colors

-Midnight Cowboy [Champagne with silver accents]

-Midnight Cowboy Rides Again [Golden beige with gold and silver accents]

-Midnight Cowgirl [subtle Golden Beige w/ gold glitter]

-Romp [deep silvery grape]

And the 24/7 Glide On Pencil is in the color Whiskey, which is a dark brown. I absolutely love this set, and it works amazing for more neutral and fall looks which is what I mainly used it for.

M.A.C Wonder Woman Collection

While on that side of town the other day, I went to the M.A.C Store and tried out some of the 'Wonder Woman' Collection.

I'm a huge Comic nerd, and a huge makeup nerd, so when the two got combined I was ecstatic. But, I was highly disappointed with this collection in all honesty.

I didn't buy the collection, so I'm using Google images. But I was highly disappointed with the packaging and the colors of this collection. The 'Wonder Woman' lip gloss color is the exact same color as the 'Cyndi' from the Cyndi/Gaga collection. And I recommend that if you have the Cyndi color already, don't waste the $24.00 for the packaging which isn't all that great either.

One thing I was very happy with this in this collection was the Blush. The colors are 'Mighty Aphrodite' and 'Amazon Princess' both of which are great colors and highly pigmented which is great for blending. I really liked 'Mighty Aphrodite' better because it blended much easier and the color just looked much better.

Eyeshadow Quad 'Valiant'

Although the 1,2, and 4th colors were great and looked great when I swatched them on my hand. The 3rd color, the metallic green one, I was not pleased with at all. The consistency of the product was great, but I was disappointed with the color itself. Maybe it's my own personal preference, but I'm not big on army green on the eyes.

The other quads are 'Lady Justice' which is a lot of blues and silvers, which I really liked. And 'Defiance' which seemed more purple and pink, which kind of threw me for a loop, since when does Wonder Woman wear pink?

Another thing I absolutely LOVED about this collection was the nail polishes, well mostly just one of them, 'Spirit of Truth' is a deep blue nail lacquer. Which I had to splurge the $15.00 on, but I love how the color comes off and looks on my skintone.

That was my quick review of the Wonder Woman Collection by M.A.C Cosmetics. I'm gonna give it a 6/10 mostly because of the amazing nail polishes and blushes.

I'd like to think that I'm pretty chill, and since this is my first real blog I'd like to take the time to introduce myself :)

First things first,

My name is Chrissie. Yes, after Chrissie Hynde, who is a badass. I live in the middle of nowhere, and have ambitions to leave as SOON as possible. Currently, where I am it is -1 degrees after last night of it being -8 degrees.

I'm very opinionated, chances are if I see something that evokes some kind of emotion in me I will let everyone with earshot distance know.

I love makeup, a lot. I spend hours of my life in my room trying on new make-up looks, even practicing on my little 5 year old sister which always works out hilariously.

My life is kind of up in the air right now,

I'm hoping that if I have enough money after High school I can go to Florida, buy a place out there and then go to college.

But if it doesn't work out that way for me, I will go to the Army and become an Army Veterinary Technician and once I get done with my four years go to College and hopefully get a degree. But career wise, I'm torn between a Veterinarian or a Police Officer.

Police Officer? Yes, Police Officer. I've seen what my dad does on a daily basis, and it makes me have so much respect for him and what he has to put up with. And how he can balance being a sergeant and having a family, it always amazes me. And yes, I love animals and I love makeup but I can't see much benefits out of careers like that.

Like I said, it's kind of complicated. :)
